Adapted Sailing

2026 Adapted Sailing: VOLUNTEER

Join Nyack Boat Club and Helen Hayes Hospital for a day of adapted sailing together with people with disabilities, rehabilitation professionals and sailors. 

Are you available to volunteer at NBC (59 Gedney St., Nyack)?  Many roles do not require sailing or boating experience:

• Volunteer June 9 (5-8 pm) Introduction to Adapted Sailing  Intro to sailing and sailing mobility techniques.  Set-up, clean-up, park cars, escort participants, and mingle. 
• Volunteer June 18 (9:30 am - 6 pm) Adapted Sailing Clinic Sailing with Lunch and Happy Hour.  Set-up, clean-up, kitchen, park cars, escort participants, crew on sailboats and safety patrol boats.
