Bulkhead Remediation: Your Capital $$'s at Work (Volunteer this Week)

With great plannning on the part of the Committee, and the help of many member volunteers, the Bulkhead Remediation Project is making great progress and working to spend our members' money wisely and efficiently. 

A few more days of work could use volunteers, starting Tuesday, Sept 29.  See the schedule and volunteer slots.

What's been accomplished as of Sept 28th?

• Steel cap welded to steel bulkhead.
• Welded new fender brackets and more to steel bulkhead.
• Hydroblasted steel bulkhead.
• Primer coat applied to steel bulkhead
• Tie-rods excavated on wood bulkhead. 
• Tie-rods repaired and replaced.

To be done this week:

• Final coating applied to steel bulkhead.
• Install new fendering on steel bulkhead.  
• Repave excavated area by wood bulkhead.
